Mr. Mullins is a Principal Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute with over 20 years of experience in the field of analytical chemistry. His experience includes extensive use of gas and liquid chromatography with a wide variety of detection methods, including mass spectrometry (single and triple quadrupole MS, time-of-flight MS), electron capture, UV-Vis, flame ionization, and pulsed flame ionization. He has broad understanding of the preparation and analysis of a wide variety of complex matrices including environmental and biological samples, with extensive experience interpreting data and deconvoluting chromatographic and mass spectral results. Mr. Mullins currently leads Battelle’s liquid chromatography high resolution mass spectrometry laboratory where he supports many projects across a wide range of disciplines.
