About the Contributor
Dr. Carbonaro’s research focuses on the fate and transformations of organic and inorganic chemicals in engineered and natural environments. At Mutch Associates, he consults on a wide range of environmental engineering topics, including remediation of organic and inorganics in soil and groundwater, water quality, contaminant fate and transport, groundwater geochemistry, and environmental forensics. In his position of Professor of Chemical Engineering at Manhattan College, he conducts research and teaches courses on environmental chemistry, chemical kinetics, and mathematical modeling of chemical processes.
