About the Contributor
Dr. Dontsova studies environmental fate of munition compounds, including their dissolution from particles deposited on soil surface, photolysis, adsorption, transformation, and transport in soils. She employs experimental approach and modeling to evaluate potential for natural attenuation of energetics in soils and sediments depending on type of soil and climatic conditions.
